We had a fantastic few days in Anaheim meeting engineers, security leads, and innovators who are tackling embedded security head-on. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth for a live demo of Emproof Nyx or watched our presentation.
What we covered at the event
At Embedded World North America 2025 the Emproof team demonstrated to delegates how Emproof Nyx protects embedded software from reverse engineering, tampering, and IP theft; without needing changes to the source code or hardware. We also explained how this lightweight, binary-first approach helps teams reduce compliance risk and strengthen runtime integrity on real systems.
One highlight was a demo showing protection in action on both ARM and RISC-V architectures, illustrating how Emproof Nyx can secure diverse platforms without impacting performance.
Emproof’s technical director Dr. Nils Albartus, also spoke at the conference. In a session entitled Why Embedded Security Fails, and What to Do About It he explored why embedded security often breaks down in practice and shared tangible strategies for building more resilient systems.
